About Kevin Turner
Kevin Turner commenced his real estate career in Paddington, Brisbane in 1988. There he achieved a number of sales awards including Top Salesperson in Queensland for the number of transactions and dollar value commission achieved.Kevin remained within the Top 10 Salespeople in Queensland while he was selling in the Paddington and then in 1991 he commenced with a major real estate franchisor as a sales trainer, business development associate and was appointed as State Franchise Director 1992.
Kevin operated a north side Brisbane real estate franchise as business owner from 1994 to 1996 and then assumed the role of General Manager of several real estate offices in Christchurch, New Zealand with a sales force of 120 people.
In late 1999, Kevin returned to Australia and purchased a real estate franchise in New Farm, Brisbane. Year on year the business grew, doubling in sales volume each year. In 2002, Kevin took on a partner and together they developed the company to the point where they operated 3 franchises (New Farm, Ascot and CBD). Kevin is a Director of Brisbane Premium Properties, and works as a consultant to Raine & Horne Queensland.Kevin produces and presents 4BC’s ‘Real Estate Talk’ program heard every Saturday between 10am and noon.
The show features live appraisals for sellers and advice to buyers about real estate prices. Kevin and and his wife Carolyn have renovated and sold their fair share of houses and this experience combined with the ownership of several real estate businesses, translates to good advice and interesting listening.
